Disease is caused by backteria/germs/virus. This is the scientific pointview of getting sick. But Science used appearance to justify appearance, which is impossible. So this layer is easy to destroy. Appearance cannot be used to prove appearance.<br><br>

Second appearance of disease / Second layer of reasoning:<br><br>

Disease is caused by karma(業障). This judgement is very close to saying like once you've hurt others, so now you have to pay back. But the question here is that is there others? Can you prove there is others? Surely you cannot prove there is otheres, since awareness of yourself is the only thing you can prove. So others are just appearance. Very clever this layer use appearance to cause guilt/emotion of you to judge. But the root is still in appearance.<br><br>

Guilt is caused by the existence of others; but you cannot prove the existence of others.<br><br>
